This was our 4th annual tour and it continues to grow in popularity with Councils and Resort representatives. It was such a good mix of sites that there was something for everyone. All attendees stated that they came away with thoughts of how they (and their organisations) could improve or investigate better waste and resource recovery practices including practices within resource recovery centres to maximize segregation of materials, separation of recyclable to degassing of gas bottles and sending to scrap metal. There was some great ideas and feedback that will go into next year’s tour. Looking forward to 2019!
