Welcome Kath Gosden

On behalf of North East Waste & Resource Recovery Group we welcome and congratulate Kathleen (Kath) Gosden to the position of Executive Officer. Kath commenced her role on Tuesday 5th April 2016.

Kath and her family have been looking to relocate back to Wangaratta, her home town, for some time and are in the process of building a home in the north east, so it was a genuinely well-timed opportunity for her.

Kath has extensive experience at both local and state government level, specifically around driving waste management programs in a cost constrained environment. She is focused on how NEWRRG will set its strategies around state government requirements in order to achieve the best waste and resource recovery plans and project outcomes.

Kath has strong affiliations with the Department of Land, Water and Planning as well as local councils.

The board and staff of North East Waste and Resource Recovery Group look forward to working with Kath on the long term plans and directions of the organisation.
