Winner…Wooragee Primary School

As a representative of the Hume Region ResourceSmart Schools project, it was a great pleasure to be able to present Wooragee Primary School with the ‘2017 Hume Region Primary School of the Year’ award last Tuesday.  The award noted their ‘fantastic community involvement and the advances they have made in their ResourceSmart journey’.  They have so far saved $3,221 and saved 18,171 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.  Indigo Shire representative Mark Greene also attended the presentation.
