Circular Economy Leadership Course

In a global first, Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group has partnered with the United Nations System Staff College to train 200 people to become circular economy leaders and help Victoria meet the Victorian Government’s circular economy plan Recycling Victoria: a new economy targets.

Victoria’s circular economy will create jobs and economic growth while reducing waste, cutting pollution and establishing a strong recycling system. Businesses, governments and individuals need to work together to realise the benefits of a circular economy.

This new course will provide participants the opportunity to form cross sector communities of practice, learn from local and international expertise and give them a holistic understanding of circular economy.

From turning waste into new products, embedding circular economy criteria in procurements and offering lifetime repairs on products—the course will demonstrate the countless ways we can transition Victoria to a circular economy.
