Supporting councils to increase recycled content procurement

Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group (MWRRG) has released a report on the barriers and opportunities to support councils with increasing their use of products made from recycled content. The report found 71% of councils https://mwrrg.vic.gov.au/procurement/recycled-content-procurement/ procure products containing recycled content including glass, food and green waste, paper, cardboard, metals, rubber and plastics.
